And the entries are:
1. Autumn Birches by Susan of LadyFlowersbySusan
The background is three colors of golden translucent polymer clay in a translucent Stroppel Cane. The birches were carefully hand built from different thicknesses of pearly white and opaque black clay. The pendant is backed with white clay for reflectance through the translucent gold and then backed again with black clay.
2. Autumn Leaves Statement Necklace by Betsy of PolyClayCafe
Fall leaves are so beautiful where I live, and the forests abound with fabulous colors. I wanted to represent the leaves in fun bold colors. The colors represent the leaves as they are turning.
3. Moonlit Wood Nymph Wall Plaque by Lisa of HiGirls
Wall plaque is 100% polymer clay with lots of texture and color.
4. Woodland Barette by by Jill of Jkollmann
A big Woodland/Forest concept is squeezed into this 1 inch by 3.5 inch bezel barrette. I wanted to include moss, wood, ferns and a flower or two for a punch of color.
5. Owl Shadow Box by Marie of YoungCreative
This wise old owl is another experiment using a hollow egg shell as the base for a bird sculpture. The branch is constructed on a coat hanger armature.
6. Bronze and Copper Earrings No. 154 by Susan of 11BOLDstreet
The PCAGOE Monthly Challenge theme of Forest/Woodsy had me pulling out some of my signature gauze/liquid polymer "fabric". With hues echoing a forested autumn landscape, I embedded a piece in a base of textured bronze polymer. Black accents, including gunmetal black findings, as well as copper beads and a Swarovski crystal complete this unique pair of earrings.
7. Leavings Falling on the Forest Floor Barrette by Angela of PolymerClayCreations
Beautiful fall foliage falling on the forest floor. Quiet and serene.
8. Raku Pine Cone and Pine Needles Decoration by Jackie of ThePleasantPheasant
I created this faux Raku pine cone and pine needles Christmas decoration using Gloria Spruiell's fun tutorial from the December 2008 Polymer CAFE magazine! I am entering this piece in the PCAGOE monthly challenge "Forest or Woodsy" theme for October 2013.
9. Owl Bowl by Line of PlaySculptLive
I have been fascinated with making bowls lately, this one of an owl and his splendorous feathers is the Woodsy Challenge for the PCAGOE.
10. Owl by Freda of FredaK
Owl among the leaves
11. Goddess of the Geraniums by Suzen of PhoenixRose
Very small elf guarding the geraniums in a tub. She is covered with vines, in the back as well, and flowers.
12. Owl Friends Mini-Mosaic by Arlene of Ashpaints
This mini-mosaic's center tile features a stylized owl surrounded by tiles with leaves, twigs, flowers and swirls. This mini-mosaic was made for the PCAGOE Monthly Challenge - Forest/Woodsy.
13. Acorn Light by Beth of CreateMyWorld
This acorn is created with polymer sculpted over a jar. The cap of the acorn unscrews to allow the battery operated light to be turned on and off. Lynda Moseley's controlled marbling technique was used for the striped part of the top of the acorn, which blends into a brown/bronze color which fades into a lighter brown at the tip of the acorn. The cap is constructed of many tear drops overlapped which were then antiqued with acrylic paint. The size of this piece is 4" long and 3" wide by 3" deep.
