Comments from the voters:

• Please continue the good works, it's always fun, nice and inspiring. I love it!
• Very talented artists. Love to see what they come up with.
• Enamored of the flute, as well!
• I also love little shrines, so this was a very appealing item; I like the use of mixed media also. For sheer creativity, the flute is also wonderful. Great idea. I just got a Penny whistle and am figuring out how to decorate it with clay, beads or leather....
• What an interesting choice of theme.
• A very difficult challenge but well done by all!
• I was invited by Betsy — but I loved her piece the most before I had any idea it was hers. Beautiful!
• AWESOME!!
• The flute is exquisite; Jazz Hands is fun; Imagine peace evokes memories.

1. Imagine peace polymer on canvas by Lisa of HiGirls

July PCAGOE challenge: Music
Polymer clay, seed beads, crystals and paper on canvas

2. Music is my Second Language Mixed Media by Arlene of HarrisonHollow.

This fun piece started with a piece of 1/4 inch thick plywood covered in tan clay. The addition of several different textures added interest to the background, then the guitar was added featuring a faux wood twisted blend of clay. The small notes above the scroll are from a mold I made of some scrapbooking pieces and the scroll and message was added last.

3. Jazz Hands by Marie of MarieYoungCreative
This piece was inspired by a photo of a raccoon with a playful hand gesture that made me think of "Jazz Hands." You can read about the project and see more photos here: marieyoungcreative.com/jazz-hands/

4. Song Birds - Nature's Music by Betsy of StrebeDesigns
Inspired by Laurie Mika's Tiny Tin Shrines class in the 2016 Polymer Clay Retreat.  For a view of the top and more background visit my blog post strebedesigns.blogspot.com/2016/06/song-birds-tiny-tin-shrine.html
